India Street Vanilla Chai

$15.00

Chai. An integral part of Indian culture and virtually impossible to avoid when traveling through any part of the Indian sub-continent. Indian Chai is typically made using a rich black tea, usually an Assam, and brewing it in heavy milk and cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and pepper. The drink produces a warm soothing effect and calming effect on the body. We've taken the soothing aspect of this blend one step further and added vanilla. It adds a rare hint of creaminess to this classic tea. Brew this tea piping hot and add some sugar to help open up the exotic flavor of the blend that makes up this tea.

Because Chai tastes amazing, it is not often thought of as a tea that will assist with remaining healthy. But that is exactly what it does.

Luv, luv, luv it

Unceasingly satisfying, the India Street Vanilla Chai captivated my senses from the moment it touched my lips to the lingering aftertaste. I couldn't resist the temptation of indulging in multiple cups of this delightful blend on its very first introduction. I enjoyed it steaming hot and it flawlessly combines the richness of vanilla with the invigorating spices of authentic chai.

No instructions

I received my bag of tea, but instructions on how to brew are nowhere to be found. Not on the bag, not in the box.

Hi Katrina, this review is for the TASTE and flavor of the blend. Based on this review, it appears that is not what this review is based on. That said, we do make the assumption that those who order tea know how to brew tea and we will take that feedback into mind. We do have the directions on the website under the tea as well as many videos with directions of brewing any loose leaf tea, not just ours all over social media. You want to put 1-2 tsp of looseleaf in a tea ball or in a tea pot and cover with hot, not boiling water. Let it steep to your likeness, usually 4-7 mins then pour over strainer if its not in a tea ball and if it is simply remove it. You will find this to be true with any loose leaf tea anywhere. Because tea is personal, its very hard to tell you how to best brew your tea which is a key part of the reason we don't and we simply show you what we do and others who bought the tea.
